PRODUCT DETAILS

The Rainshield is a lightweight packable waterproof coat.  This product encompasses the technology of our waterproof smocks and the lightweight properties of the Stowaway shirt. The result of which is a 400g* low profile waterproof solution.

The Rainshield has had a rework in 2019. We've had lot's of great feedback over the years from our military, police & civilian customers. Whilst it's core features have remained the same, lots of improvements have been made since it's predecessor.

The pocket configuration has been revamped and simplified for ease of use. Two side pockets, single chest pocket complete with waterproof zips & garages minimise water ingress. An Internal storm flap provides an extra layer of protection in torrential rain and wind. We've also made an Improvement to the general fit of the coat, including longer sleeves and better hood coverage.

Excellent light weight tactical rain jacket

Excellent light weight tactical rain jacket. Size guide spot on. Fast int. delivery. Well done Arktis - keep up the good work. Only thing I would like to change on this jacket would be to add pit zips. That would be a great improvement for a potential version 3 of this jacket.

Keeping pencott available!

Great to see a UK company keeping pencott greenzone available! Previously ordered the boonie and stowaway when they came back in stock and when the sale was on for the bank holiday I couldn't resist getting the rain shield. No regrets whatsoever though not had any serious use from it yet. Been out for walks when showery weather and definitely keeps you dry. Ordered the large ( my usual size but planned for it to be worn over bulky items like plate carrier or rig) and there's plenty of room it it, a little spacious with just a base layer on but not ridiculously so. The zips match the Greenzone pattern and the chest pocket is handy for holding my phone. Usual arktis quality and finish and expect it to serve me well in the field as the weather gets wetter. Highly recommend and hopefully plans for the waterproof trousers to be offered in greenzone sometime soon. 5 stars!!

Superb.

A tiny bit heavier than I was expecting, but that's due to the drop liner. Fantastic fit and quality. I like the colour Arktis chose for the zips, it goes well with GZ.
Trust the size guide. I was convinced I'd need a Large, but the guide said Medium and it was right. These coats are sized to go over load bearing vests and there's plenty of room.

Free Shipping:
Free shipping is available for UK orders over £240. Also for all orders, you can get a free D200 face mask in Navy.
Please note that a standard Arktis jacket weighs approximately 2kg, so it is advisable to buy several items at the same time, in order to get the best value for shipping and to save on this cost in the future.
 
 
Whilst we aim to get all of our orders within a few days but please allow up to a week for dispatch and sourcing of items. In rare cases, we list part made items which require us to finish the products. PO Boxes are extremely difficult to send to. To avoid any delay a full address is preferred. We are able to send up to 2KG via Royal Mail worldwide, but anything above this weight we are unable to send. We will contact you for an alternate address.

Orders placed in the UK, are required to pay VAT with each purchase. This cost is 20% of the purchase price, and will be included in the final price at checkout.
 
Countries outside of the UK including the EU are exempt from this; however, purchases may be subject to VAT & customs charges upon arrival. A small administration fee is also usually charged by customs.
