In 1985, an ex-Royal Marine started a company to create an alternative to British standard-issue military gear. Something that would be far superior, comfortable, durable and functional. Today, Arktis manufacture all types of specialist clothing & equipment for military units, police forces, emergency services, and outdoor enthusiasts all over the world. As much as Arktis has changed and grown, we are still committed to the same Quality of Endurance established back in the '80s.
We’ve driven jackets onto airstrips to meet waiting aeroplanes and sent gear anywhere from the Arctic to the Sahara. We have many stories, but our products and their owners have even more.
We believe that building and designing excellent gear requires hands-on experience. That is why we still design, prototype and modify in our UK office. Not only do we feel that this keeps our quality high, it also feeds our enthusiasm and innovation. We are proud of our history and excited for the future, and look forward to sharing what comes next with our customers.
