Completing our Vulcan system, the C475 Vulcan Trousers are a lightweight insulating layer featuring PrimaLoft® Gold insulation. Paired with a windproof and water-resistant Nylon MiniRip outer to provide exceptional thermal efficiency & breathability without the bulk, even when wet.
Using 100gsm PrimaLoft® Gold insulation all along the legs, with 60gsm in the cuffs and waistband to prevent heat leaking even at those transition points without excess bulk.
Designed for active use, the Vulcan Trousers are easy to wear or remove thanks to the two-way zips along the outside of each leg, with pop stud tabs inside to avoid flapping when dumping heat or accessing pockets in underlayers.
Each cuff uses an elasticated, Cordura reinforced hem and instep to protect from abrasion. A simple elasticated waist with hook and loop closure over the fly allows for easy wear over any under layers, supported by our low-profile two-point suspenders.
All this is contained in a form factor so lightweight that it packs into its own back pocket.

Its ultra-fine, lightweight fibres trap body heat to ensure exceptional insulation, even in extreme cold, keeping you comfortable and thermally regulated.
This level of insulation isn't compromised by wet weather as the hydrophobic fibres actively repel water, meaning they'll still perform to high standards, maintaining 98% effectiveness, even in wet weather conditions.
The fibre's incredible compression resistance means that PrimaLoft® Gold remains highly effective even when subjected to the extreme rigours of military use.
