PRODUCT DETAILS

Re-developed with input from various military units to bring you one of the best shirts on the market today.

We redesigned the shape for a more traditional fit, using a new lightweight fabric. The back ventilation mesh is now softer, providing better airflow to keep you cool and dry.

The pockets have been improved for easier use. The chest pockets allow for easy access to your gear, even when mobility is restricted. The arm pockets are now low profile to prevent snagging and unnecessary bulk.

Some sizes may have an updated design without a buttoned rank slide.

You can see the updated configuration here. If you are unsure, please contact us.

British Infantry use

Recently went on a exercise in Sennybridge Wales. With it being British peak summer I wanted to try an alternative to the issued field shirts and UBacs with something a little higher in quality.
This shirt is a great alternative, the build is quality and rugged to handle the outdoor environment. The pockets are all conveniently located and I really accessible, I especially liked the zipper openings in the upper sleeve pockets.
Regarding fit it does run baggier than expected, I went large and I'm 6'3 85kg. I thought the length was perfect as it didn't untuck itself, though the excess width made it feel awkward under armour at times. A medium size probably would have solved this for me.
My only feedback is the cuffs, being a hot climate shirt I'd like to roll them up easily, the cuff design I felt makes this difficult to do. Probably the only thing a issued barracks shirt wins on or other brands(CP). (Yes hero sleeves is more my preference, though they're more practical for movement and ease to roll up as well a the allyness). I found trying to roll them up time consuming, they also tighten the more rolled up they get which isn't ideal, I think this is due to the tapered design.
Some reinforced elbows would also be good.
Either way I carried a GPMG for 13 miles wearing this shirt in 20 degrees + and loved it. Being a hot climate shirt it's not meant to go under armour but it did well in such circumstance and is a great alternative to the issued kit or other brands.
I look forward to belize next year and testing this out in the jungle where it is primarily designed for.

Great shirt

What a great shirt. I got this as my last outdoor shirt was falling to pieces. Very solidly made and well designed. I took the velcro patches off the sleeves and body of the shirt. I am no longer in the army, and don't need bits of velcro everywhere.

I am 185 cm tall and weigh 87 kg and the large is a perfect fit. Ordering clothes online always seems to be a bit of a lottery in terms of sizing, but any stuff I have ordered from arktis in a large is perfect.

Plenty of pockets for organising things and the ripstop fabric is great. Washes well and dried fast.

Hunting season has just started here in Nova Scotia so this shirt with a wool t-shirt under it and a wool anorak over it should be good to minus 20 Celsius as long as I am moving. It's reasonably close fit leaves room to move but it fits well under outer layers without getting twisted and tangled.

Fast service to Canada from arktis via DHL.

I would highly recommend this great piece of kit. Thanks to the good folks at arktis.

Great Quality

Great quality, sturdy, tough, tight stitching, good fit, top notch material and looks Ally! plenty of pockets for EDC. Wore in the jungle and performed well in a hot and humid tropical environment and happily taking it back to the jungle soon. Overall very happy.

ALL CLIMATE SHIRT

Really happy with the Arktis All Climate Shirt, great quality, great British brand. I will be taking it to the Jungle soon and then later to Florida USA and Im sure it will perform well in those hot tropical environments.

Love it

Another great Arktis purchase. I would says it comparable to a US BDU shirt as it could be a shirt, shirtjac or light jacket.
Same ripstop as the smocks so I wouldn't call it a lightweight summer shirt... but neither did Arktis.
Inner mesh in the chest and upper back for comfort and venting.
Sizing is true and fit is good. Unfortunately I listened to other reviews and sized down from an XL to an L. Cut and fit is good but tight through the armpits and back. Therefore true to size as I normally don't fit well into a L. Need to order an XL next haul.
