A192 Stowaway Shirt - PenCott® GreenZone™

I needed this as a light top that had Pencott Greenzone colours, to have with me at all times. I shoot a lot and having this for wind and water proofing in the field is ideal. Could do with pockets and a hood wire and more adjustment but that would make it a very different jacket, so I embrace the simplicity. It is loose fitting but that is ideal for throwing on over clothing.

Fan of M05 pattern but not an easy pattern to find available so when had the notification that arktis has 3 jackets available for preorder I dived straight in and placed my order for the stowaway. Had a previous one for my son in tan and it's great. Waited for it to finally arrive and was not disappointed. Great quality and finish, the only minus point is that it appears a little dark but think it's due to the print process and the material but it's not too different. Great to throw over a T shirt to protect from wind and showers with enough room to be able to get a thick mid layer under as well without looking too baggy. Packs down into its own stuff pouch that fits combats leg pocket so easy to carry until needed. Have since ordered the pencott now they're back in stock and suspect it won't be the last colourway I order. Hopefully more M05 items to come from arktis so that I can build up a full kit. Very happy!!!

This is my 3rd stowaway now having previously ordered the tan (for my son) and the M05 version which is amazing buy maybe a little dark. Have been waiting ages for the pencott variant to come back in stock to go with my full greenzone load out ( by other manufacturers). Again it appears a little darker than my other kit so suspect it's due to the print process and material. Had size large which allows room under for base and heavy midlayer when the weather turns but it doesn't look too baggy when thrown over a t-shirt to offer protection from wind and showers. Packs down into the attached pouch and fits in combat trousers leg pocket easily so on hand if needed. One minor moan is that maybe it could do with a method to roll and hold the hood down as it catches the wind if not worn on the head so balloons behind you or whips around the back of your head, maybe something I can DIY myself, but have the same issue with other jackets too. Very happy with it and I'm sure there will be other stowaways added to my collection before too long. Build and finish are top notch.
