This item was a pleasant surprise in my order.
Sized well as true to size with some extra room to act as an over pant. I wouldn't size up unless you are stuffing several/many layers under them. Bottom leg opening is well sized and I now realize the photos show the leg bottom with the velcro pulled. Will fit over boots once they are on but I don't think you'll be able to get a shoe/boot through the opening. But that eliminates zippers etc.
I was able to put my normal 36 size in these over top of German insulated liner and Arktis 36 combat pant.

The rain barrier drop liner is thin and lightweight.

These are essentially the pants match to the stowaway jacket. Same great micro rip material. Thinking about ordering a second pair and removing the liner to make a nice packable wind pant.
